We are a church where you can belong, grow and encounter God. 


We are a Spirit-filled, Bible-believing church that is passionate about the presence of God and the power of the Gospel. We believe Jesus still transforms lives, heals, delivers, and restores people today. At our church you will find powerful worship and Biblical teaching that is applicable to everyday life. We encourage people to come as you are, and yet be willing to grow in your faith, and allow the Holy Spirit to change you from the inside out!

Northern Lights Christian Center: "A lighthouse to the nations"

God has called us to be a lighthouse to the nations of the world.  Our desire is to spread the gospel light to northwest Wisconsin and beyond! 

  • Local Church

    We are a local church established in Hayward, Wisconsin.  We pray regularly for our local authority, schools, residents, and visitors. 


    We welcome you to come and visit our church!  Our hospitality team is available to answer any questions you may have.  If you would like to schedule your visit in advance, please contact the Church Office by phone, email, or click on the Visitor's Tab.


    Our Sunday morning worship services are family-friendly and centered on the Word of God.  We have a wonderful Children's Ministry, Youth Group, Small Groups for adults, Sunday School (Sept-May), and other ministries available. 


    We encourage people to come as you are, and yet be willing to grow in your faith, and allow the Holy Spirit change you from the inside out!

  • Christian Academy

    We believe in Christian education, and are pleased to offer a Christian Academy to the local community and surrounding area. 


    We offer a Pre-K Program, as well as a full school from Kindergarten through 12th grade.  Our teachers are well-qualified, the students kind and cooperative, the atmosphere is positive, and children are taught truth from the Bible and the core academic subjects.


    Northern Lights Christian Academy (NLCA) partners with parents in training up children in the ways of the Lord. For further information, click on the CHRISTIAN ACADEMY tab. 

  • Missions Outreach

    Northern Lights has a strong emphasis for missions.  We care about people and want to see lives changed by the power of Jesus Christ.  We support missionaries who have a call of God on their lives to go into all the world and preach the gospel. Our church sponsor dozens of missionaries throughout the world through our prayers and financial giving. 


    Be on the lookout for information about our Annual Missions Conference!  Each year, in late October, we host missionaries for dozens of countries and ministries across the globe.  It is our privilege to partner with missions and the work God is doing in other nations.  Our prayer is that everyone will be able to hear the powerful message of the gospel and that lives will be changed forever.
